About Dave
Dave has been Principal of Warrnambool College since 2016 and is also an alumni of the school.
Dave initially studied a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons.) and then worked it IT and retail at oil and gas company Shell.
He decided to return to university to study a Bachelor of Primary Teaching (Hons.) and taught in primary schools before moving onto teaching English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Digital Technology in secondary school.
Dave is a proud Star Wars fan, loves the musical wizardry of the Beatles and is hopeful that the Blues might make another AFL grand final in his lifetime.
Dave has been actively involved in the TAASS executive team since its inception in 2015. He is committed to providing a regional perspective on the experience of SEAL students and teachers and ensuring that the unique challenges experienced by regional schools are considered as part of executive discussions.
