Veronica Hoy

Veronica is the Principal of Gladstone Park Secondary College.

In each of her 26 years in education, Veronica has taught and led programs for gifted students. She understands the learning needs and teaching challenges of SEAL students, and the breadth of successes possible.

Veronica teaches Chemistry and Biology and loves any opportunity to be in the classroom. She is energised by seeing students who are motivated by challenge, curious, creative and enthusiastic about learning and sharing ideas.

Veronica has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Instructional Leadership, and worked in scientific research before beginning her career in education.

Working in schools has provided her with great satisfaction.

By understanding the needs of gifted and highly able students, and providing the right learning and wellbeing environment, Veronica has seen many gifted and talented students flourish and become incredible contributors to our society.
